Ekta Khanna Design Studio is an interior design firm, specializing in high-end residential (apartments, houses), corporate office, retail and institutional interior projects. We provide design consultancy as well as turnkey interior solutions.

Another exciting service that we provide is, Interior consulting. If you don’t have a huge budget for a full service, we are here to help! For an hourly fee, we will walk you through ideas, brainstorm solutions, or provide sourcing for specific problems such as layout, paint color, or where to find affordable art.

About US

Ekta Khanna Design Studio

Design Principal at EKDS, Ekta is an Architect and Interior Designer with a domain experience of over 20 years.

An alumni of Dr. D. Y. Patil College of Architecture, Mumbai, Ekta started her career with architect T. Khareghat in Mumbai. She was deeply inspired by his style of clean lines, monochromatic, modern style of architecture. With her interest growing in Interior Design, she also trained with Urvaksh Aga Design & Ratan J. Batliboi and Associates and worked on some prestigious and widely published projects. Post a 5 year stint in Mumbai, she moved to New Delhi in 2002. Here she worked with Mani Chowfla Architects for 7 years, out of which she was an Associate Partner with them for 4 years. She worked on projects ranging from Institutional and Public buildings, Residential high-rise buildings and townhouses, Corporate office buildings and luxury farmhouse projects amongst others. Her love for Interior architecture, made her start her own Design Studio in 2009, in New Delhi.

An architect and designer should be someone with an eye for detail and, to me, that is non-negotiable. With Ekta and her team, I had peace and fairly early on was convinced that she would think of everything that was necessary. We had several meetings before starting and discussed the look I wanted, the changes that were essential and more so keeping in mind our requirements. Remodeling is different from doing something from scratch and not easy task, particularly when you live in the same premises. My work is such that I was able to leave for extended periods so her team had free access and operated with utmost care and very professionally. I was not around to supervise every step but that was not necessary.
